What is fundamental science? In my opinion, it is the science that is so everywhere in the Universe. These are only mathematics, theoretical physics and quantum physics, including quantum chemistry. The others are of significance only to people on the Earth. Though there is a question about mathematics, too. The foundation of our mathematics is mathematical logic and set theory. However, their postulates have come from people experience and, therefore, fail to be universal.
